This year's Tidewater Shabbat project aims to encompass many of the gifts Shabbat/Shabbos brings us. Come join us for a crash course on Shabbat, challah baking with friends, or meet new people at our community dinner.

Have questions about the Tidewater Shabbat project?
Hosted in partnership between B'nai Israel Congregation's Sisterhood and the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater, come join us as we make fresh Challah for your Shabbat table. Open to all women in the community, and each attendee will go home with a pair of Challot as well as words of inspiration.

We're back for another Shabbat Project dinner in Tidewater! A beautiful, catered Friday night celebration will take place at B'nai Israel Congregation in Norfolk. Enjoy time with family and friends, new and old, as we bring in Shabbat together along with Jews around the globe. Babysitting and kids programming now available free of charge!
